I’m the kind of man who once believed that if you love someone genuinely, they’ll value it. I was wrong. I loved deeply, trusted completely, and somehow ended up learning the hardest lesson — sometimes the person you would never hurt becomes the person who hurts you the most.
Since then, love hasn’t felt the same. I question things I never used to question. I notice the little changes. I overthink the silence. I take time before trusting someone, not because I’m cold, but because I know exactly what it feels like to give someone your heart and watch them treat it like it meant nothing.
But I’m not here to stay broken. I’m rebuilding myself — my mind, my body, my confidence, my life, everything. Some days I’m completely fine, some days the past still finds a way back. That’s healing, I guess. Not forgetting what happened, but learning that what happened doesn’t get to decide who you become.
I’m not looking for someone to fix me. I’m looking for someone who understands that behind the confidence, the sarcasm and the calm face, there’s a man who still believes in something real — even if he’s scared to admit it.
I like deep conversations, effortless chemistry, late-night talks, genuine attraction, loyalty and people who mean what they say. I’m attracted to confidence, honesty and that rare kind of energy where you don’t have to pretend to be someone else.
I may take a little longer to trust, but when I do, I don’t do things halfway. I’m intense, protective, sarcastic, affectionate, ambitious and probably a little complicated — but never fake.
So yeah, I’m still healing. Still learning. Still becoming a better version of myself. Maybe my heart has a few cracks, but there’s still a lot of love left in it.
I’m not looking for perfect. I’m looking for real.
And if you can make me believe in love again without asking me to forget why I stopped believing in it… maybe you’re worth the risk. 🖤
