Virtual reality now in Bakersfield classrooms

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) – Virtual reality is now at Tierra Del Sol High School, and students are using it to leave the classroom while staying at their desk. VR headsets are taking students on virtual field trips. They're not just seeing the Taj Mahal, for example, they're inside it. Nancy Frazier has been teaching for more than 15 years, and she said she wishes she had this tech when she went to school. Frazier said her students are excited about their lessons.
