Too close to call: Cox narrows Valadao's lead in 21st district race

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) - There are an estimated 11,000 ballots still left to be counted in the 21st Congressional District, and as the mail-in ballots get tallied, the new results show fewer than 1,000 votes – less than 1 percent – separate incumbent David Valadao from his opponent TJ Cox. Election forecaster FiveThirtyEight estimates that Fresno County has the most votes left to count, followed by Kern County, Kings, and Tulare. The final margin could be within 100 votes.
