Three convicted of gang charges in Wasco State Prison assault
Three inmates at Wasco State Prison have been convicted of assaulting another inmate for the benefit of a gang, marking the first time a Kern County jury has returned a guilty verdict on gang charges for a crime that occurred in prison, prosecutors said Thursday.
