A Tehachapi man on trial for murder testified Wednesday that he beat two acquaintances to death after he awoke to find them raping him.Joaquin Balassa tearfully told a Kern County jury he was speaking publicly for the first time about the sexual assault because he was embarrassed and humiliated.
