Suspected gang member arrested after firearm found in traffic stop

Police arrested a suspected gang member Saturday after a loaded firearm was found in his car. Johnny Bernal-Flores, 23, was pulled over around 2:30 a. m. on Flower Street. While searching his car officers said they found a loaded Glock 9mm handgun with a high capacity magazine. Officers also determined Flores was a parole for burglary and has had a documented past as a criminal street gang member. Flores was arrested and taken to jail.
