Students arrested in connection with BHS stabbing

Two Bakersfield High students were arrested Friday for assault with a deadly weapon and possession of a weapon on campus for their alleged involvement in a stabbing at school. A fight occurred about 10 a. m. Thursday and a student suffered a stab wound to the shoulder. The student has been treated and released from a local hospital. Kern High School District police investigated the incident and identified the participants in the fight. The knife used in the stabbing has been recovered. Path to Full Story on 29 Eyewitness News
