Structure fire on Brundage Lane may be arson

Bakersfield Fire and Kern County Fire crews responded to reports of a structure fire around 5:45 p. m. Tuesday. A vacant dentistry office at Brundage Lane and T Street had smoke showing, BFD Battalion Chief Mike Lencioni said. There were reports of people coming in and out of the building. “It’s often occupied by homeless people,” he said. Lencioni said a man was observed leaving the building with burns on his hands, so the fire is being considered suspicious in nature. Path to Full Story on 29 Eyewitness News
