Stop by Dustin's Diner when viewing the Christmas lights in Haggin Oaks

Haggin Oaks residents go all out when decorating the outside of their homes for Christmas. In 1993, Dustin and David Kilpatrick, then 9 and 11, saw all the cars that flooded their neighborhood to view the elaborate light shows and recognized an opportunity to do some good for the community . They created Dustin’s Diner to sell hot chocolate to the many people who came through Haggin Oaks and raise money for the Bakersfield Homeless Center. Path to Full Story on 29 Eyewitness News
