ShotSpotter activation leads to arrest of homeowner in Central Bakersfield

Bakersfield police arrested a man after a ShotSpotter activation led them to his home. It happened around 9:20 p. m. Monday in the 100 block of Donna Avenue. Officers were looking for a victim when they found 7. 62x39mm spent cartridges in the backyard of a home. Investigators contacted the homeowner who admitted to firing his gun.
