Shot fired after late-night robbery at Valley Plaza Mall parking lot

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) – A suspect fired a shot Friday after a robbery in the Valley Plaza Mall parking lot. Police said the victims were waiting for a tow truck around 1:40 in the morning when two male suspects approached and robbed them at gunpoint. The suspects ran off to a nearby waiting car, police said Monday. One of the victims chased after the suspects, and one of the suspects then fired a gun. Police Sgt.
