Serial rapist and murderer sentenced to death
A Kern County judge sentenced convicted murderer and serial rapist Michael Charles Brown to death Wednesday morning. Brown, 40, was convicted of stabbing 39-year-old Ruby Lee Jackson-Meriweather to death in her home in the 500 block of Grace Street.
