Residents needed for new sales tax oversight committee

Nine people in Bakersfield are going to get to decide how to spend your money. And you can be one of them. Built into "Measure N," the Bakersfield sales-tax ballot initiative, was a requirement that the city create an oversight committee to keep an eye on every dollar generated by that tax.
