Red Cross details ways Kern County can help wildfire victims

Once again, wildfires are raging across the state of California. And as they leave a trail of destruction in their wake, many here in Kern County are asking what they can do to help. "One, by making a financial donation to the Red Cross to support what we're doing,” said Megin Hughes, of the organization’s Kern County chapter. Another way to help is by giving some of your time as a volunteer. The Kern County chapter of the Red Cross currently has a team of six on the ground in Ventura County.
