Public safety radio system in desperate need of an upgrade
The public safety radio system used by both the Bakersfield Police Department and the Kern County Sheriff Office is dangerously outdated and in need of an upgrade. Officers go out and try to do their job, their lifeline is that radio, said police spokesman Path to Full Story on 29 Eyewitness News
