Portrait of a Warrior Gallery now open in Bakersfield

Hundreds gathered in downtown Bakersfield to honor soldiers who gave their lives for this country. The Portrait of a Warrior Gallery, which recognizes those soldiers who have died since 9/11, opened Monday morning. Dignitaries and soldiers, family members and friends congregated outside the gallery, at 1926 Eye St. , before going inside the art space to view the portraits of the soldiers.
