Police patrol car involved in collision in east Bakersfield

A police patrol car was involved in a collision in east Bakersfield Saturday. Police said the patrol car collided with a white pickup truck at Monterey and Tulare streets, which caused the patrol car to collided with a parked car. A woman passenger inside the truck was taken to the hospital with minor injuries and the two officers in the patrol car were not injured. Police said it is not clear yet what caused the collision.
