Outbuilding destroyed in fire on 2nd Street Monday morning

Bakersfield Fire Department responded to a structure fire at the intersection of P and 2nd streets around 11:45 Monday morning. Battalion Chief Bill Ballard was the first unit that arrived and found an outbuilding, that was initially thought to be a detached garage, at 900 2nd Street in flames. “It looks like it might have been a living quarters at one time,” Ballard said. “It was fully involved. ” Path to Full Story on 29 Eyewitness News
