One man dead, another injured in southwest shooting

Bakersfield Police Department officers responding at around 3:13 a.m. Sunday to a report of shots fired found a man with multiple gunshot wounds in a southwest strip-mall parking lot.The man was pronounced dead at the scene in the 5400 block of California Avenue.
