On-duty Kern County deputy arrested for allegedly being on drugs

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) – An on-duty Kern County deputy was arrested Saturday for allegedly being under the influence of drugs. Deputy Lewis White was working patrol in the Tehachapi area at the time of his arrest, according to the Sheriff’s Office. The Sheriff’s Office investigated the alleged drug use, and the California Highway Patrol investigated whether White drove under the influence.
