On anniversary of Parkland shooting, Kern County students take safety into their own hands

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) - On the anniversary of the school shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, students around Kern County are concerned about the safety of their own classrooms. Centennial High School in Bakersfield offers a Virtual Enterprise class, where students form their own mock company and showcase their business model at competitions across the state.
