Officials searching for inmate that escaped from San Quentin State Prison overnight

The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation is asking for the public’s help in locating an escaped inmate from San Quentin State Prison. Shalom Mendoza was reported missing around 9:35 p. m. on Wednesday while officials were conducting an institutional count, according to a press release from CDCR.
