Officer Involved Shooting In Silver Creek Area

This morning, the Bakersfield Police Department is investigating an officer involved shooting in Southwest Bakersfield. The shooting happened at 12:38 am near 7800 Silver Birch Avenue in the Silver Creek housing area. BPD confirmed that one suspect is dead and that the officer was not hurt in the shooting.
