Multiple local events planned for Wednesday’s National Coffee with a Cop Day

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) – Wednesday is National Coffee with a Cop Day. The day is designed to foster interaction between officers and the public they serve. The Bakersfield Police Department is holding three coffee events:8-10 a. m. at McDonald’s, 1812 Union Ave. 10:30 a. m. to 12:30 p. m. at Sugar Twist, 9500 Brimhall Road1-3 p. m. at Starbucks, 6451 Ming Ave. The Tehachapi Police Department will host an event 7:30-9:30 a. m. at the Starbucks inside Albertsons.
