Much work on Truxtun is done, but some lane closures will continue a while longer

The lane closures and construction on Truxtun Avenue near Oak Street are still going on, at least for a short while longer. All lanes are open during peak traffic times, but alternating lanes will be closed both eastbound and westbound between 9 a. m. and 3:30 p. m. through Friday. At least two lanes will be open in both directions, according to Janet Wheeler of the Thomas Roads Improvement Program.
