More than one 1,000 people mourn at Mass for Helen Chavez
The life of Helen Fabela Chavez, who died June 6, was celebrated Monday in front of more than 1,000 people at St. Malachy’s Catholic Church in Tehachapi.Cardinal Roger Mahony, retired Archbishop of Los Angeles, presided over the the Mass of Christian Burial.
