Man, woman arrested after Bakersfield chase

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) – A man and woman were taken into custody Wednesday morning after leading officers on a chase. A California Highway Patrol officer on scene said a traffic stop was initiated at Panama Lane and Colony Street in south Bakersfield, but the driver wouldn’t stop. The chase continued until the driver rolled their vehicle at Highway 58 and Edison Road. The suspects got out of the vehicle and ran to the other side of the freeway, where they were caught.
