Man killed in collision near Westside Parkway

A man was killed Saturday night after his truck collided with a construction crane. Police said they found the man suffering from injuries described as major around 11:20 p. m. near the Westside Parkway and Truxtun Avenue. Officers said the man's truck left the roadway and collided with an unoccupied crane. The man was later pronounced dead at the scene. The man's name has yet to be released.
