Man gets 14 years, 10 months in prison in domestic violence case

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — A man was sentenced Thursday to 14 years and 10 months in prison in a domestic violence case. The deputy district attorney said Dennis Williams choked his victim to the point of unconsciousness. Williams was convicted of domestic violence crimes that happened on two separate occasions, as well as attempted murder, attempted domestic violence with a weapon, and intimidating a witness.
