Man arrested near border for Bakersfield murder

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) – A man was arrested near the Mexico border for a 2017 murder in Bakersfield, according to Bakersfield Police Sgt. Brian Holcombe. Michael Rosales is accused in the stabbing death of 23-year-old Miguel Garcia. Police said the stabbing took place at a party in the 2100 block of Dayton Avenue. Police haven’t commented on a suspected motive for the stabbing. Rosales has been transferred back to Kern County and booked into jail. Path to Full Story on 29 Eyewitness News
