Local orthodontist gives to homeless project

Dr. Mike Thurman of Thurman Orthodontics presents a check of $2,290 to Belinda Rickett of the Bakersfield Burrito Project on Thursday. Thurman pledged to make a donation to the group for every new patient he took on this year. The money will fund 2,400 meals for the homeless.  Path to Full Story on The Bakersfield Californian
