Late correctional officer honored with escort to funeral home

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) – The body of Armando Gallegos, a correctional officer who worked at a prison in Delano, has arrived at a funeral home in Visalia. Officers from multiple agencies paid tribute to Gallegos with an escort Monday from the coroner's office in Bakersfield. Gallegos, 56, died Sept. 14.
