
Monday marks one year since the Las Vegas shooting that killed 58 people and left a country grieving. Janie Scott and Tawny James live in Bakersfield and both were in Las Vegas at the Route 91 Festival that night. “The popping, it sounded like fire crackers going off, “ Scott said. “I didn’t know what it was, but when you looked over to your right you saw smoke in the air. ” Scott and James both witnessed a nightmare unfold before their eyes.
