Kern jury find man guilty of child sex crimes

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) – A man has been convicted in a child molestation and rape case. The Kern County District Attorney’s Office on Friday said Jose Huape Fuentes was found guilty of six counts for crimes that involved multiple victims. One victim was kidnapped for the purpose of rape, the DA said. The case was investigated last January. Fuentes is scheduled to be sentenced in March and faces the possibility of life in prison, the DA said. Path to Full Story on 29 Eyewitness News
