Kern County Public Health prepares students to "Stop the Bleed"

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) - In the past couple months, senior Emergency Medical Services coordinator, Jeff Farris, has educated almost 500 Kern County high school students about how to save each other in an active shooter situation. Schools, under more pressure to prepare for active shooter drills, want students to know how to apply pressure to wounds and save lives.
