
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) – The numbers for the 2018 Kern County Fair are in, and attendance topped 416,000. Here’s a rundown of some other figures released Tuesday by fair spokeswoman Janet Sanders: Carnival Sales were up 6 percent. Food concessionaires were up 4 percent. “Pint for a Pass” from Houchin Community Blood Bank collected 5,000 pints. “Feed the Need” from Community Action Partnership of Kern collected 54,118 pounds of food.
