KCSO addresses arrest of McFarland High School basketball coach

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) – The Kern County Sheriff's Office on Tuesday released a couple additional details regarding the arrest of a McFarland High School basketball coach. The McFarland Unified School District previously addressed the arrest of Fernando Pruneda, saying he had been put on administrative leave and that, “Student safety and well-being is a very high priority. ”The Sheriff’s Office followed up Tuesday by saying the investigation started Oct. 9.
