KCSO: Man wanted for hitting elderly man in head with baseball bat

The Kern County Sheriff's Office is searching for a man accused attempting to murder an elderly man. Deputies said25-year-old Jesus Jimenez struck a 67-year-old man in the head with a baseball bat on Nov. 9. Deputies have issued an arrest warrant forJimenez for attempted murder, cruelty to an elder and participation in a criminal street gang.
