KCSO: Deputy’s bullet wounded both suspect and fellow deputy

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) – A bullet fired by a Kern County deputy last week struck both a suspect and a fellow deputy. The Sheriff’s Office on Tuesday released details for last Wednesday’s officer-involved shooting in Oildale. Two deputies were conducting an electronic-monitoring program compliance check when they encountered a reportedly combative man with a gun.
