
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) – The Justice Department on Thursday announced more than $8. 3 million will be given to support Californians who survived the October 2017 mass shooting in Las Vegas. The Justice Department said 35 of the 58 people killed during the shooting at the Route 91 Harvest Festival were California residents, and about 200 of the 600 people injured in the shooting came from California.
