Jazz fest: Memory of mom lives on in jazz festival scholarship
This weekend, my family will mark the 20th anniversary of the Mary Osborne Memorial Scholarship at the Bakersfield Jazz Festival.My mother, Mary Osborne Scaffidi, was a wonderful woman (I think she was perfect) who also happened to be a celebrated jazz guitarist.
