Inmate died of multiple drug intoxication
A 29-year-old man found dead in his cell at North Kern State Prison died as a result of multiple drug intoxication and his death is an accident, a coroner’s office news release said.Alberto Rico was found unresponsive in his cell at 5:54 a.m. March 5 and pronounced dead at the scene.
