Former officer makes serious allegations against BPD

A former officer is making serious allegations of corruption and criminal activity against command staff in the Bakersfield Police Department. Chris Messick took those allegations to social media via a Facebook video. In the video, he admitted he did something wrong, saying, “The mistake that I made was the first one that I have made in nine years. ”Messick was placed on administrative leave and now is no longer with the department.
