Flag Flies When Organs Are Being Donated
April is National Donate Life Month. As part of spreading awareness, hospitals around the county are raising OneLegacy flags. Typically, the flags are only flown when a deceased person is in the hospital and their organs are being donated. One person can donate up to eight organs and enhance 75 other people's lives through organ, eye and tissue donation.
