Coroner: death of woman struck by train was accident

The death last week of Jasmine Chavez of Bakersfield, who was hit by a train, was an accident, the Kern County Coroner's Office said on Monday.Chavez, 22, was walking on L Street immediately south of Truxtun Avenue when she was struck by the train.
