Coroner: Inmate hanged himself

A Reseda man who died a day after being found unresponsive in his cell at Lerdo Jail had hanged himself, a coroner’s office release said.Sergio Derkevorkian, 29, was found unresponsive by jail staff at 2:47 p.m. Saturday and transported to San Joaquin Hospital, the release said.
