Coroner: In-custody death was accidental

The Kern County Coroner’s Office has determined the death of a man in custody was accidental.At 5 a.m. on Dec. 8, 34-year-old Juan Fidel Castro was found unresponsive while at the Kern County Sheriff’s Office Central Receiving Facility, according to a news release from the KCSO.
