
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) – California’s attorney general on Thursday announced 17 people were charged in a robbery scheme targeting Apple stores across the state. Xavier Becerra said eight of the suspects are in custody. Warrants have been issued for the others. The suspects would go into Apple stores, wearing hooded sweatshirts, and quickly grab merchandise on display.
