
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) – California State University, Bakersfield has gotten grant funding to combat sexual assault and dating violence. The three-year, nearly $300,000 grant from the U. S. Department of Justice will fund a project coordinator and peer education program. CSUB said DOJ-Office of Violence Against Women encouraged applications from universities and colleges that serve primarily Latino or Hispanic students.
