
SHAFTER, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) – A man was arrested Monday morning at the end of a slow-speed pursuit. The suspect’s name was withheld. California Highway Patrol Sgt. Patrick Etchebarne said Shafter police asked his agency to take over the chase, which began around 7 a. m. and lasted about an hour. Etchebarne said the pursuit only topped out about 30 mph, but then the suspect refused to get out of his vehicle for 15-20 minutes after stopping. Path to Full Story on 29 Eyewitness News
